The Cervantes Convention Center has undergone a transformative $210 million expansion and modernization. The Cervantes Convention Center expansion elevates St. Louis’ standing as a premier destination for conventions and events, blending modern design with state-of-the-art functionality. This project is anticipated to generate thousands of jobs in skilled trades, construction, and the hospitality industry, further boosting St. Louis’ $5.8 billion convention and tourism sector.
Scope of Work
This project adds a cutting-edge 72,000-square-foot exhibit hall and a stunning 20,000-square-foot pre-function event space known as the MLK Lobby, setting a new standard for event venues. Electrical upgrades include the installation of five new substations powering various panels, mechanical equipment, floor boxes, and wall boxes, ensuring robust infrastructure for events of all sizes. Additionally, the lighting and lighting control systems in Hall 4 were completely renovated, enhancing the ambiance and functionality of the space.
