In 2012 and 2015 a top 10 Fortune 100 data center announced an expansion of their hyper-scale mission-critical campus investing over $2.5 billion. This large investment positions The Client for long-term growth in a region that offers the right combination of energy infrastructure, developable land, and available workforce.
The Client’s mission-critical facilities are some of the most efficient in the world, using 50% less energy than the typical data center, in support of the firm’s mission to operate on 24/7 carbon-free energy by 2030. This 1,000-acre property utilizes renewable power, sourcing over 570MW of wind power from local utilities and farms and is one of the largest data center campuses constructed in the United States to-date.
The new 30MW hyper-scale facility was a 311, 500 square foot new build of a confidential data center. The facility included a 136,750 square foot computer room, sixteen (16) generators, and sixteen (16) substations.
