Data Center 3 – Confidential Client
This project involved the expansion of an existing hyperscale campus. Data center infrastructure included more than 30 generators, Medium Voltage substations, Medium Voltage paralleling switchgear, and busway distribution to the rack level. The project required coordination and installation of Owner-Furnished Equipment and systems infrastructure throughout the expansion. Support facilities included extensions of campus infrastructure such as underground communications duct banks, site security, and Medium Voltage underground systems.
Scope of Work
The scope included design-assist services and a campus expansion encompassing site infrastructure. Construction activities supported a peak workforce of over 150 electricians in a market with limited labor availability, including a significant book 2 workforce. An out-of-market prefabrication facility was utilized to reduce on-site labor demands. Work included coordination and installation of significant owner-furnished equipment components.
