Hennepin County Medical Examiners Office

The new Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office is a 64,000 square foot facility with two connected wings consisting of autopsy bays, body freezers, coolers, autopsy support space, office space, conference rooms, and a mechanical penthouse. The building also includes a large garage for hearses and ambulances, a loading dock and 2 surface parking lots. As part of this project, four existing structures on-site were demolitioned to make way for this new state-of-the-art facility and training center.
