Uptown Station renovations were designed to help renovate the Uptown area located in the heart of Oakland. This completed project created new and refreshed retail space in the Public Realm, which includes several suites for future tenant occupation and improvements. This location also included a tenant improvement buildout consisting of 7 floors of commercial office space and the construction of an underground parking garage.

ArchKey/Sprig partnered with Novo Construction and MBH Architects on the electrical design-build features across the entirety of the tenant improvement of the space. Our encompassing scope of work included the design-build tenant improvements made to the Public Realm retail spaces, and the design-build tenant improvements for Square’s new commercial offices. Square’s headquarters now have an expanded number of working areas, break rooms, conference rooms, lounge areas, and open patio spaces. ArchKey/Sprig also provided new power, switchgear, lighting, and controls for the building.
