U.S. Bank Stadium – Home of the Minnesota Vikings

U.S. Bank Stadium is home to the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings and was also the designated location of Super Bowl LII in 2018. The 1.75 million-square-foot stadium located in Minneapolis, MN was the largest construction project to date in Minnesota creating over 7,500 construction jobs as of 2017. This state-of-the-art facility began construction in 2014 and featured seating for 66,600, 131 suites, and 7 upscale club lounges – all of which were completed in time for the 2016 NFL season.

Scope of Work

Work on this project included all electrical contracting through our team as well as technologies work as completed by ArchKey Technologies. ArchKey Technologies completed the technologies scope which combined 10 scopes including structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, audio/visual, bowl audio, WiFi, broadcast, DAS, video production, IPTV, and pathway for systems. This project included a staggering 2,216 speakers (the highest array was attached up to 205’), 398 cameras, 1,105 WiFi locations, 1,010 antennas, 10 video walls and 6,630 network connections to the stadium to provide an incredible sports and events venue to Minneapolis.
